Hurricane Volleyball is one of Utah's premier High School
volleyball programs. In 2008 Hurricane won the first ever
State Volleyball Championship in the schools history while also
capturing for the second straight year the Region 9 championship.
In this 2008 run, 4 girls were named All State athletes. During the 2007 - 2008 season Hurricane
boasted six All State volleyball players while earning a third
place finish at the Utah State Volleyball Championships. In
the last six years Hurricane has established itself among the
elite programs in class 3A Utah Volleyball. In the last six
years Hurricane High Volleyball has produced three Division One
volleyball scholarship athletes and 4 Junior College volleyball
scholarship athletes. Since 2006 all but two graduating
seniors received college scholarship offers. Our upcoming
2009, 2010 and 2011 classes are currently being recruited and
followed closely by many Division One, Division Two and Junior
College programs across America.
Our number one goal at Hurricane is to provide a winning
experience on and off the court. We are proud that over 8
girls in the past four years have earned Academic All Region
awards and two have earned Academic All State awards. Many
have accepted college academic scholarships and are working hard
to improve the world. Our girls not only win on the court,
they are winners in the classroom. Our goal is to build
champions, we believe great athletes are developed and
life's champions are built, it is our mission to help each
student- athlete recognize and reach their full potential.
Our programs works tirelessly to foster an environment of success,
helping our girls unlock their hidden abilities. |
